Beni has a line of wedding dresses out. Bitch is abseiling down a jagged ass rock face, because I thought marriage rates were super down in Japan. Still, at least Beni's getting paid for putting out these piñata decorations she calls dresses.

I'm going to need my female readers to stand up on this one. Would you wear any of those dresses to your wedding?

I'm no Vera Wang, but Beni's wedding dresses all look like something you'd wear at a masquerade ball, a prom, a Halloween party, or in the case of the short red dress: a night out with the girls. And as for that black dress, I hope any chick that wears that shit down an aisle is deaf. Because people would be talking out the side of their mouth on how a chick must have had so much pre-marital sex that black is the only colour she could ever get married in.

I'm not the crowd Beni's trying to appeal to with these dresses, but I still think they look iffy. Still, at least Beni's get wired some Yen.

  1. They're not that bad. I would definitely wear that blue dress in my wedding. I like it a lot. The rest of them... not so much. They're more like party/gala/awards show material, but you never know. The States are definitely more conservative and traditional than other countries, so maybe these looks will work for women in Japan.

And that whole black dress comment. People talk out the side of their mouths regardless. Most brides aren't virgins anyway (I'm assuming, seeing as how hypersexualized and not prone to abstinence or celibacy as people are today), and wearing a white wedding dress would probably be more of a provocation for gossip than a black dress would be. I can't remember going to a wedding and NOT thinking "As many years of her life as she's spent on her back, she KNOWS she shouldn't be wearing any white dress." Anyway what I'm saying is I don't think the dress color matters. If a chick is a ho, people are going to mention it.

  2. Well, she looks cute in the one she's wearing but these remind me of prom dresses more than anything. This is not my style but I liked the silver dress she had on in the video. I thought that was very classy.

As for the song it's just a generic song that's not interesting at all. It certainly doesn't sound like a wedding song.

  3. Oh, and J! She's got about 3 white dresses in the collection and they actually look pretty good.

  4. i agree with Beruda, that silver dress in the video is awsome i wonder if iot's ion the collection.

@Deela "As many years of her life as she's spent on her back, she KNOWS she shouldn't be wearing any white dress" LMAO! that would be so funny though.

About the black dress, i actually think it would be so cool to have a wedding at night or something whare everybody has to wear black like that one in Britney's "my prerogative" video.

  5. The patterns are cute (I am a sucker for florals especially), but all that multi-colored frilly fluff dripping off every single one means I honestly wouldn't be caught dead in any of these at any point in time, ever. Props to her though.
