Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's domination of Japan continues with a new film

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's grind knows not how to stop. Not only is she endorsing every single product in Japan, hosting her own talk show and releasing a new album in July in the midst of a world tour, but she will also be releasing a film. Yes, a film.

Here's a sad truth... Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is not a human being.

The rumor spread out during the European shows of Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s Nanda collection world tour that “Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is not a human being!?" Some people who are close to the singer try to blow the whole thing wide open, but they soon go missing...

Without knowing why, the singer flies back to Japan, and soon faces the truth she didn't know... She is not a human being. She is a robot! She feels shocked by the news, and starts a journey to find her true identity.

So in a nutshell, the film is an unofficial autobiographical account of Beyonce's life.

If only Mariah Carey had had a team around her as creative as Pussy Pamyu, then Glitter wouldn't have happened and that film would have instead been some super sentai type shit with the cars in her "Loverboy" music video turning into megazords and Da Brat playing a lesbian Rita Repulsa.

Kyary's bat shit crazy films releases on July 8 and it's highly likely that songs from Pikapika fantajin will feature within it. It would be the most logical thing as it's an easy cross sell of the album itself which will be available by the time the film releases and will be promoted absolutely everywhere.

  1. One day "The Best" is going to mean what it should instead of "Singles Collection"… next time, it better mean "Reflection", "you-aholic", "The Great Escape", "Animal", "Lips", "I'm In Love with the HERO" & "Girls & Peace" are on the track list as they are some of "the best" work SJJD has done…

  2. To be honest, I think she can benefit from doing a video with an actual story. She's already a decent actor, she should put that to good use for a music video. Then, maybe she'll finally stand out. Maybe she can try to be the female Justin Timberlake for once…

the video was a disappointment. only one costume change (ok 2) one dress that she looks like she came out of a turd and cgi along with a shaman? they could do so much better. the song is still playing in my ears though, so upbeat and happy happpy :)

psy found his niche in making fun of hinmself. what asians fail to see, is that americans don't think psy's cool but funny and stupid and they laugh at that "chinese man's round face and funny looking appearence" mocking him. yet there he goes again. i hope we will neve have to hear from him ever again!

  6. "I get that taking the piss and putting out this type of 'comedic' tripe is PSY's thing now. But you can still make something great and decent out of a mockery. He may want to check out The lonely island, whose videos and songs are complete jokes."

Wasn't PSY always more of a comedian than a musical artist, tho? Like, I can't stand this fucking song (read - I'll probably end up liking it within a month), but earnestly, this strikes of a comedian who has become a wee bit too self-aware.

THAT GIF, THO!!! HOMEGIRL WAS NOT FUCKIN' AROUND, Y'ALL!!! SHE CAME FOR WIGS!!!

  9. Pamyu P is entertaining to watch live; if she had a real budget to work for a concert, I'd buy tickets

  10. I'm mad that Crystal Kay couldn't have gotten this; homegirl could have hooked us up with some moves (Ayu don't dance because she can't) and she would have sounded better than Ayu could ever >_> The song is good tho, so I can't be too sore.

Quick question, tho - Is that pic of Ayu a promo shot for this album era, or is it just a random pic from a photoshoot she's done recently? Because homegirl looks ALL the way fuck up in a high fashion kind of way (read - she looks stupid, and not the stupid with two o's).

  11. Pusha P has a budget. She just isn't allowed to touch it outside of Japan...yet. This girl had Cinderella's castle and a great Deku tree on stage during her arena tour in Yokohama » https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkTjGt7fQXI

  12. Well fuck... Homegirl is not fuckin' around, y'all

  13. Crystal hadn't come to mind once in all the times I listened to this song, but now you mention it, she would have made a nice fit and absolutely bodied this.

The pic is from a shoot Ayu did for Harpers Bazaar Hong Kong at the end of last year. It was a nice shoot overall. One of the best she'd done in quite some time.

  15. It's clear she's given up. About time you and the rest did too, J.

She's done. So done, a fork couldn't penetrate her. Neither could her career penetrate the industry.

    :)

  16. I know this is a bit off your radar, but she actually did an interview for a Fashion Magazine based in New York: Twelv Magazine; where she describes her "Yokohama Ratchet Pop" style she's trying to coin here in America!

The first pic of her is Afro-realness…

I follow Kuri on IG and I saw this, but I was super unimpressed. Her publicist needs to do a better job because I've seen people with less of a following than Kuri get a one or two page spread in NYLON "artist to follow" segment with less of a discography/prestige too.

Hell, Baptiste definitely could have pulled some strings and got her into NYLON. Kilo Kish and Krewella were up in there last summer and they barely had HALF of the material Kuri does when you search her.

I don't know... I'm personally sick of seeing her go to events and be in the gym. I'm starting to confuse her with the Fitness Bloggers I follow because she always going Rambo in my feed. I know Kuri's pretty, I know she's fit. I also know I'm bored...

I follow her because she can SANG and she's sexy. In that order. If I wanted someone who was sexy and could "sing" I would be on iTunes buying Ciara's whole discography doing my best to resuscitate the lifeless piece of sh*t that is her "career".

lol ok not all americans but i think he is getting notcied for the wrong reasons. koreans think that he is making it big with his MUSIC but in the end he ends up laughed at by most. that's what i'm getting from this one. and if i was racist i don't think i would comment anything on this blog. lets keep it sweet :)

  19. I see... I am definitely not suited to high fashion; I am still making faces at what she's wearing

  20. They actually have three Japanese albums and Galaxy Supernova got a physical release. My Oh My was the digital only track released before their third album.

  21. To me this is merely a more hight-octane four-on-the-floor of Beyonce's own shorter, mid-tempo ballad "XO" from last year's terrific self-titled album, only with actual singing vocals and a video launch that'll be remembered long after the first time any fan views it online. I'll at least admit its the best thing she's done since 'Bold & Delicious' as far as experimental/dance music goes, but there's no reason pretty much any self-styled singer-songwriter (like Hikki) couldn't have taken up and made it terrific!:D

  24. I actually don't see this selling all that spectacular.

BEST's don't mean what they use to. And this is Girls' Generation. In Japan.

  25. YASSSSSSSS! Those are my favorite tracks from them, minus "Reflection". Their team seriously needs to step their game up music production wise. Their first Japanese album will always be their best work in my eyes. "The Great Escape" is what sold me on that album.

  26. I was not ready for that gif. Homegirl was swinging her hair so hard you would have thought she was about to whip out her 'Moon Scepter' and vanquish a b***h.

Let's all rejoice at the fact that Sailor Moon is coming back. I don't care what anyone says, I LIVED for the show back in the day. I'm not here for this new theme song though. I miss the old Japanese classic theme songs from the 90's. I still know the lyrics by heart too. :(

  27. While this is one of the best songs she's recorded in recent years production wise, I can't find myself listening to this more than once. The song suffers structurally. I actually prefer "Lelio" over this mess.

After listening to her new leaked songs in full, I actually enjoy the direction she's going in. This album is shaping up to be an evolved form of "NL" and "PQ". She needs to stick to dance-pop and ditch pop-rock.

i said my opinion about how i think americans see him, not the way i see him.where did racism (from my side) come from?
me following a blog about asian music that i actually like and think it's cool, is a pretty good example i don't care about races since i'm not asian.
