One thing about Fujii Kaze, he’s gonna throw videos of his stage performances up on YouTube. None of that short version, teaser shit neither. It’s whole songs, whole chunks of tour performances, or even the whole damn thing.

Music Awards Japan partnered with YouTube Music Weekend, whereby performances were uploaded of those who were nominated. As a result of this, we have a whopping 33 videos of 20 minute performances on the official accounts of each of the nominees. This is HUGE. But in true Japan fashion, these videos will probably get snatched down and set to private within 15 business days.

But to Fujii’s credit, he and his team has always been far more YouTube friendly than most acts — which is a very common thing amongst the generation of acts who debuted within the past decade or so. I feel that Fujii and his team woulda said ‘Fuck it’ and thrown up a 20 minute video of his ‘Feelin’ Good’ stadium tour anyway at some point.

This video features the performances of “Hana”, “Kirari”, “Mo-Eh-Yo”, “Shinunoga E-Wa”, “Michi Teyu Ku (Overflowing)” and “Matsuri”. These songs were likely plucked and cut together because they’re are a mix of Fujii’s most recent singles and releases from Love All Serve All — which was nominated (and won) at the Music Awards Japan.

Fujii is clearly gettin’ them good production budgets now, because that stage looked expensive. And whilst this 20 minute video didn’t really show it, he did utilise the entire stage during the show, performing on the upper decks and even saying ‘Fuck the stage’ at one point and cycling around the arena as he performed “Sayonara Baby”.

Fujii always looks like he hit some edibles and did a lil’ sniff-sniff 10 minutes prior. But his energy is always where it needs to be and he always puts on a show. And it’s fun to see him continue to dance more. That lil’ dance break during “Mo-Eh-Yo” made me get up and yell ‘OKAY BITCH’.

Fujii’s Feelin’ Good tour is available to watch on Netflix. It’s a really good show. So if you've got Netflix, be sure to give it a watch.
