I was beginning to think we'd only get one single from Danity Kane's Welcome to the dollhouse. Despite "Bad girl" being confirmed as a single there was no word of a video or a release date. Well, "Bad girl" is indeed on track to be the next single and MTV was on set to see the girls in action...
"MTV: So why did they keep us waiting so long for a second single? D. Woods: Touring, filming, running around the country picking up fans" - my foot!! Diddy was the reason. He dogs artists like tins of Alpo. That n***a is like a road block on the highway to a successful career for Bad boy artists. I don't know why he even bothers. It's obvious he doesn't care. Bad boy artists either end up washed up or dead. Just ask Faith Evans and Biggie Smalls.
The video looks like it'll be a hot one though. The DK girls were looking sexy, except for D. Woods and Aubrey bringing the standard down with their horrendous weaves. D. Woods looked like she had a dead Ewok on her head and Aubrey's weave looks like...well...how Aubrey always do: ragged. When it comes to weaves, can't nobody touch Destiny's child. Tina laced those bitches heads up so good that their shit was looking like their real hair.
I'm glad "Bad girl" is being made a single though, because the track is bangin'. But it should've been released much, much earlier - within weeks of their album dropping. Mariah dropped 3 singles, got married and got bitten by her Jack Russell twice in between Danity Kane's first and second single.
If you've yet to check out Danity Kane's sophomore album, be sure to do so. I hope that "Strip tease" and "Sucka for love" are given the honours of becoming singles. But with Danity Kane being signed to Bad boy, it's doubtful. I mean, shit - look how long it took for "Bad girl" to surface as a single!
