Christina makes them hoes siddown on American idol

Christina made an appearance at American idols finale and she surprised the hell out of me. I thought she was going to drop a performance of the craptastic "Not myself tonight" and scream for three minutes. But instead she performed "You lost me" and screamed for four.

It's crazy how Christina comes out to a bunch of lights, explosions, scantily clad male dancers and her hit "Fighter" blaring out. But then the lights dim, the stage clears and its just her and a mic. Nothing else. Not even clothes, because chick was in a damn corset and underwear. This is how you need to roll when you're serious as an artist. You need to be able to strip it right down and still do the damn thing. And Christina did just that.

Christina's live performances of "You lost me" make the album version sound whack. I don't get the same feeling when I listen to the album version that I get when I hear her slay the song at VH1's story tellers and shut it down on American idol. She really is going to need to drop "You lost me" as a single.

I'm glad Christina put "Not myself tonight" on the back burner and performed a song that shows just why she's been in the game for 10 years, and that there's a long list of chicks out right now who can't touch her vocally. Her riff at 5:40 was insane! And once again, I love how Christina kept her look consistent with her album with the Bionic hair-do.
