Sunday shade: The identity of Pamyu Pamyu's mystery friend on her 'Nanda collection' album cover is revealed

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - Nanda collection | Random J Pop

It finally hit me who that is featuring on the cover of Pussy Pamyu's Nanda collection. It's Nakata Yasutaka. The teeth, the fried blonde hair which is hanging from its roots. There is no mistaking that it is the mastermind behind the album itself. The Japanese beat deity that is Nakata Yasutaka.

  1. Glad to know we won't know EVERY song before it's released! Although, I call BS that "IS THIS TRAP?" won't be on there! There better be four songs better than that on this album, because I've only heard one in the singles…

    Here's hoping it's better than the collective of JAPONESQUE, UNIVERSE, Dejavu & TRICK! Not gonna be, but let's hope…

  2. To each one its own, but Kumi's last two singles were not crappy music. Besides LALALALALA's generic ass, all the other 4 "new" songs were catchy as hell.

    I'm excited for this album, mostly because In February 19-26th the japanese are going to be broke with multiple heavy hitters releasing new things. Right now sales are pretty LOW, so hopefully they'll gain some momentum with the upcoming releases this month. It'll be exciting how much will everyone sale when you got AKB48, E-Girls, Miliyah, Atsushi, Sexy Zone, AAA, Namie, Pamyu, L'Arc~en~Ciel, The Gazette, BoA, Nogizaka 46 and others releasing shit almost the same day.

  3. Glad to hear some kind of Jazmine Sullivan, even if it's through her songwriting! Candice Glover could easily be the representation of soul we've been missing lately!

  4. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Please. Kumiko bless us with another hot hit, you're one of the big names I actually root for. ;_;

  5. Hmm... This will be the first Kumi album that I'm new to, so this ought to be an interesting experience. I'm actually surprised you didn't go into a tizzy about Kumi looking somewhat classy on that cover; I know I can't wait to see her look a nasty ass skank on the real cover and not some CDJapan placeholder XD

  6. To be honest, I'm not looking forward to this album. The singles for this era were her most boring yet. The last Kumi album I fully enjoyed and physically bought was Kingdom. I'm sorry but her music hasn't impressed me overall in years with the exception of a few songs.

    I hope this album manages to sell over 150k in the long run.

  7. I wish I can take a time machine back where she was kissing girls, sucking lollipops, and twerking on a bottle.
