Ayaka ain't letting that Graves' disease stop her for shit, because she's embarking on a 27 date national tour that will kick off right before Christmas and carry her right the way into Spring of 2019.
The fact that we're mere months away from 2019. Bitch, I can't even. Time is flying by so fast that my wig can barely keep its placement.

At a time when J-Pop was running rampant with fried out blonde wigs, pussy pops and no vocals, Ayaka stood out and was a breath of fresh air. Back in the day I used to watch J-drama's religiously. I started watching one called Suppli, which featured two of her songs "Real voice" and "Blue days". The latter tugged on my wig and wrestled me down into submission. So I had to find out who the singer of the song was. From that point on, I started to stan. Although you wouldn't gather as much given how light posts are on her around here.
Ayaka's career is pretty erratic, even by my standards as a Hikaru Utada fan. Sometimes she's hella active and other times you forget she even exists. But it's great to see that she's announced such an extensive tour, which is a sign of good health - something that threw her career into jeopardy when she was diagnosed with Graves disease not long after the release of her second studio album.
