With Kumi Koda's Re(CORD) album out and nobody really caring, Avex were like 'Well, I suppose we should help a bitch cling to some form of relevance' given that Namie peaced out and Ayu is like 'I'mma just tour whilst I can still hear'. So we have a collab song between Kumi and Atsushi, the only member of EXILE who has a decent voice. And oddly, it's a self cover from Kumi's Black Cherry.

The Re(CORD) roll out continues to baffle me. Throwbacks to old albums and old visuals in the midst of new material.

I don't get it. The whole thing is strange. Make this narrative make sense.

It's just as strange that this didn't end up on Re(CORD), because it would have sat well alongside songs like "Summer time" and "OMG" which share a similar type of vibe.

But the one song which came immediately to mind for me before this shit even got going was Jin Akanashi and Crystal Kay's "Wonder". The song which never saw the light of day officially despite having a damn video and sounding like a whole bop.
