Music video: Disclosure put fans out of their misery and release the Summer bop "Douha (Mali Mali)" | Random J Pop

After Guy of Disclosure played the song "Douha (Mali Mali)" as part of a quarantine DJ session for Boiler Room back in April, fans have been waiting on their new album to hear the song. But Disclosure went and surprised fans by releasing the song ahead of the album.

Me, like many, just ripped the damn thing from the livestream and have been playing the bitch ever since. But it's great to have the final official release of the song to tide fans over until their album Energy releases in August.

"Mali Mali" features West African artists Fatoumata Diawara, who has also appeared on the non album Disclosure cut "Ultimatum" back in 2018.

It's a lovely looking video, but it's a shame we didn't get anything better than drone shoes of people dancing. Especially after the great videos we got for "Energy" and "My High". I know we in a pandemic and it poses obstacles, but DAMN. We've still managed to get some great music videos in the midst of this life-changing madness.

The taste for Disclosure to drop this the same week Beyoncé drops Black Is King. Which also features Chloe x Halle. Who Disclosure also worked with for their album Ungodly Hour.

Disclosure's third studio album Energy is released on August 28th.
