Zimbabwean Australian Pop star Tkay Maidza hit us with her new song "So Sad". A song about somebody who can't seem to let go and thinks that you need them, when you don't. Relatable. Some people really like to think that somebody's world gon' fall apart without them in it. Bitch. The world is doing a great job of falling apart all by its-damn-self thank you very much.

"You Said" is lifted from Tkay's EP Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 2, the second part of an EP trilogy. Tkay Maidza's sound jumps around like Super damn Mario. "You Sad" is not even remotely a taste of what to expect from the rest of the EP, which is Pop, Rap, R&B, EDM, Soul, House, everything. If I had to compare Tkay to another artist, it'd be Azealia Banks. Every song on the EP sounds like something Azealia has done or would do. Even Tkay's flow on certain songs is similar ("24k").

I'm always here for another Black woman in the game saying 'Fuck sticking to one genre' and dancing all around that box.
