Allie X airs her Halloween drawers with "Fresh laundry"

Music video: Allie X airs her Halloween drawers with "Fresh laundry" | Random J Pop

Canadian Pop star Allie X has released her new song "Fresh laundry", with a creepy ass music video which has her roaming about an empty house like that TV bitch from The Ring. Just in time for Halloween month.

"Fresh laundry" keeps the 80s sound that Allie X has always done, but it's far darker than what she's given us before. But it's the like sound has finally caught up to match the darker side of her image that she often serves us.

Allie X's team should definitely push "Fresh laundry" as a Halloween Pop bop, even though it's not explicitly a song bout Halloween. I'm sure that Allie's intent wasn't to release a Halloween single. But maybe it was. It's hard not to think that with the video. A video of which was relate-able as fuck. Anxiety got you feeling such a type of way that all you wanna do is stay home, entertain yourself, and lie on the bed eating Twizzlers. A bitch read a palm with that shit right there.

It's crazy that Allie X hasn't really BLOWN UP blown up yet, because she's a melting pot of successful artists who are out now. She has the sound that Carly Rae Jepsen's seen success with, a look not dissimilar to that of Lady Gaga, the campness of somebody like Katy Perry and the visual quirkiness of Billie Eilish. And Allie X is also a songwriter for those other than herself, having co-written the bulk of Troye Sivan's Blue Neighbourhood and Bloom albums, and even a song on Seohyun's Don't say no EP. And her music is really damn good. Her Super Sunset album shoulda been far bigger than it was. She deserves.

Anyway.

I like "Fresh laundry". This is so gonna be my 'I don't wanna go nowhere tonight, so I'mma just be busy Netflix and chillin' alone whilst eating rhubarb pie and ice cream' jam.
