JoJo's 4th studio album Good To Know has a tracklist and a release date y'all. It's a 9 song set and it arrives on May 1st on all the streaming platforms and maybe in all the stores. I say maybe, because I remember how I had to search high and low to find Mariah's Caution in stores. MARIAH FUCKING CAREY. A record breaking, in the Guinness book of World record ass singer signed to a big ol' label like Sony, and her shit was hard for me to find in London. So I'mma say a prayer for JoJo that Warner have their shit together and distribute this into every store that sells CD's.
- So Good
- Pedialyte
- Gold
- Man
- Small Things
- Lonely Hearts
- Think About You
- Comeback
- Don't Talk Me Down
To absolutely no surprise, fans have already hit JoJo up like 'Gurl, where are the rest of the songs!?'.
For the past few years it's felt like short albums have become more of a trend and a norm across the board. Would it be nice to have more songs from JoJo? For sure. But I'm more about quality than quantity. What is the point in dropping a 15 track album, if only 8 of them are good? So, whilst I woulda liked me 12 tracks of JoJo - if Good To Know provides me with quality from top to bottom, then I'm good.
JoJo and her manager have already shared that there will be a deluxe edition of Good To Know. It'd be nice for the Deluxe edition to include "Joanna", "Sabotage" and the Grammy award winning "Say so" with PJ Norton. But actually slotted within the tracklist, as opposed to just dumped at the end (a pet peeve of mine when it comes to Deluxe edition tracks).
Good To Know releases on May 1.
⚠️ JoJo's world tour was set to kick off at the end of April. But in the wake of Miss Corona's contamination world tour having kicked off first, there is a chance that dates could shift. So keep an eye out for tweets from JoJo herself in regards to this.
