Rather surprisingly, JoJo's first music video from her Christmas album December Baby is "Wishlist" which features the PJ Morton, with whom JoJo also collaborated with for the Grammy award winning "Say So".
"Wishlist" isn't the most obvious choice to lead a Christmas album with, which is why it is such a great choice. It cuts through the noise of all of the typical Christmas songs which do the rounds every year, but seem to be in abundance in 2020.
Listening to "Wishlist" for the first time, it was clear to me that the song wasn't just about wanting your boo who dumped you to come back home, but that it had a far deeper cutting meaning of willing the return of somebody who you've lost, and this music video cements that. It's a really touching video, and the promotional tie in with The Birthday Project, with proceeds from the song going towards a charity to help homeless children is a really great thing.
