Listen. Sometimes it be like this during the holidays.

I like me a jaunt around the crib to Mariah's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and a buss down in the kitchen to Namie's "White Light" as much as the next ho-ho-ho. But there are days and nights when I just wanna listen to Sad Bitch Christmas songs.

After all, Christmas isn't just what it's commercialised as. For many it's a time of solitude, reflection and looking back on the year. And for some it's not the happiest time of year at all, but one of the most depressing. Whether it's because the holidays remind you of loss, or you have so much down time to just be in your feelings and think about how shit the year has been for you. And given what a horrid year 2020 has been and that many will be spending Christmas alone, a blue Christmas is going to be very real for many people. So if you're having a not so merry Christmas this year, or any year, then this playlist is for you.

And remember. Christmas is whatever you want it to be. So don't get wrapped up in feeling like your Christmas is lesser than or that you're doing it wrong, because it's not playing out like a Hallmark movie.
