Aside from Victoria's Jaguar
The music video features the Instagram famous Rickey Thomson, who is genuinely funny in this.Victoria mentioning 'Jaguar Part 2' got a chuckle outta me. Clearly fans are blowing up her mentions asking about when it's coming, which I can imagine is annoying. But at least Victoria knows there is an audience that wants it. Jaguar was a solid lil' EP which deserved to be bigger. The SG Lewis produced "Experience" had smash hit and crossover potential, and it was a shame is saw neither.
Victoria Monét always keeps her cards close to her chest, so I can't imagine we'll get any concrete news on a Jaguar Part 2 until it's pretty much ready to go. And there's also the possibility that we may not get it. At least not in name. Things change, musical tastes shift, you get new visual inspirations and the music business evolves. Victoria may find that due to a combination of these things that releasing a Jaguar Part 2 EP doesn't make as much sense as a brand new 12 track studio album. Although sonically it may still carry the spirit of what Jaguar Part 2 would have been.
I'm honestly not precious about a Jaguar Part 2. As long as Victoria is able to put out music and build on the quality she delivered with Jaguar, I'm cool with whatever.
