Snoh Aalegra and Tyler the Creator in the music video for the song which isn't about Blade Runner booty, "Neon Peach" | Random J Pop

It was like everything halted after Snoh Aalegra dropped her second album Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies. In fact, the entire roll out for it has been pretty still. We got the single "Dying 4 Your Love" in July of 2020, before we even knew there was an album, because...2020. And then didn't get a follow up single until almost a year later with "Lost You" in June 2021, followed by the album in July. And now we in November and we're only NOW getting another single!? I'm all for stretching the stint of an album out, but baby. What is this timeline?

"Neon Peach" shoulda been dropped closer to the release of Tyler's album Call Me If You Get Lost which released back in June.

HENNYWAY.

Here's the music video, which is of your standard Snoh Aalegra aesthetic.

Tyler the Creator is also credited as the producer of "Neon Peach". His production skills are something that I don't feel get enough recognition. He is legitimately a talented producer. His work on Igor in particular was solid. He be out here occasionally doing The Neptunes sound better than The Neptunes. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if many assumed that "Neon Peach" had involvement from Pharrell Williams.

Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies was a patchy album, but Snoh knows what's up with what would make good singles having released "Lost You" and "Neon Peach", which are two of the best songs on the album. If Snoh follows this trend, then maybe we'll get the actually Neptunes produced "In Your Eyes" as the next single.
