RiRi is interviewed for Atmos and Adidas Originals, and gives us nothing | Random J Pop

Despite being a promising talent in J-R&B, an arena where they aren't many artists knocking about these days (at least with talent and good material) RiRi hasn't released a great deal of music. She's instead been focusing her time on modelling and hosting. Her latest gig is featuring in an Adidas Original campaign for the Japanese streetwear fashion brand Atmos, where she also did a short interview.

The interview: Atmos interviews Riri

The interview doesn't reveal much or even delve into new music or anything that's coming, aside from her wanting to work with more US songwriters and producers. The biggest news, which is old by now, is that RiRi voiced the character of Bombalurina, Taylor Swift's character in the Japanese release of Cats.

The interview didn't touch on her music at all. Nothing about her leaving Sony and signing to Avex. Nothing about her love of dance. Nothing about her first time taking charge and writing and producing a song, "Episode 0". All things they easily could have tied back to Adidas, being original, being comfortable and confident in yourself, being bold, etc.

Hennyway.

RiRi, gurl. We need new music.
