Kelela resurrects a “LMK” wig for “On the Run”

Kelela reached into the back of that closet for one of the “LMK” wigs, and has given us a new music video. As has been the case with the previous singles “Washed Away” and “Happy Ending”, “On the Run” was snuck out as a single; which is unfortunate given the quality of each of these songs, and how cool their videos have been.

A bit of Thelma and Louise, with a splash of La Roux’s “In for the Kill” and a dash of Fenty Fortnite’s “Work”. “Frontline” with a bit of a budget. Okay bitch.

Kelela has occasionally given us body, but never quite like this. Kelela’s titties were giving a performance in that tape bikini. It’s nice to see Leeloo from The Fifth Element’s fashion choices are still inspiring future generations.

Kelela looked amazing. The way she is just embracing her body, and being so bold in how she presents it is pretty inspiring for somebody who could never fathom showing theirs in such a display.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars, because Kelela’s second studio album Raven releases on February 10, 2023. And if the singles are anything to go by, I’mma be hopping between some lofting and some slow whines for 45 minutes straight.
