With the release of their best album on September 18th, Perfume have switched their pussy into promo mode.
So let's run through everything. Starting with Perfume delivering a fashionable serve for Goeth magazine.
The disparity between Perfume's looks for magazines and their stage outfits is wild. I fully get that there's no way they'd be able to dance in half the shit they wear in these shoots. And that there is a practicality to their stage outfits, as far as being able to move and quick change is concerned. But this doesn't mean their shit has to be ugly. And some of their outfits aren't even that practical. Those Future pop outfits looked like a damn hindrance. That shit couldn't have been easy to have danced in. And on their Future pop tour, the girls were wearing that cheap looking shit over 2 LAYERS OF DRESSES. Perfume need to have designers custom their stage shit and just make the crowd wait 10 minutes during changes. I admire the showmanship of quick changes to keep intermissions small. But I'm also for these girls not being a tired sweaty ass mess, because I can't imagine that their stages are air conditioned and they're always so far from a stage edge, that there's no way they're catching any breeze from a fan.
The things these girls do for a lack of fashion.
As the countdown to the release of P³ begins, Perfume's team have been sharing 'Behind-the-scenes' titbits about some of their classic songs. But I don't think Perfume's team have really grasped what 'Behind-the-scenes' means. I mean, look at what they've classed as 'Behind-the-scenes' so far.
Baby cruising love: They built a big, custom set for this video, a first for Perfume up to this point in their career!
Macaroni: This was Perfume's first video to be shot outdoors. They visited many places in Tokyo.
Love the world: This song was their first weekly No.1 single in Japan!
Edge: The stage production for Perfume's Chokkaku Nitohen Sankakkei Tour was put together based on this song. This is just info or song facts. These are all things which are probably common knowledge to fans and things which are kinda obvious. If these are considered 'BTS facts', then we could write our own for each song on P³.
I wish Perfume's social media team would get it together. It's great they're bothering to post. But there is actual tea about these songs that is not common knowledge that us fans would love to hear about. To just be giving us shit that's probably on the Wikipeia page for each song. Gurl.
It wouldn't be a Perfume release without some form of data aggregation and a new website. Perfume's team have put up posters for P3 all around the world and each poster is numbered. If you take a picture of the poster and tweet it using the hashtag #Pcubed_3 and then #pcp followed by the poster number (i.e #pcp01) it will show on the map on their special website. Chances are they'll use all of this info during their Reframe performance. Speaking of which.
The gaijin ticket lottery for Perfume's Reframe gig have now opened up. If you're a Perfume fan planning to visit Japan between October 16 - 17 or your studying or working in Japan, then head on over to the official site and see if the odds will be in your favour.

There's a high likelihood that this show will be livestreamed via NHK World, as their first Reframe performance was. And with a successful Coachella performance and livestream under their belts, hopefully there will be no viewing restrictions and they will actually promote the showing times well ahead of time. I just hope that it's shot better than the first Reframe performance was. It was a shame to see such a spectacle and technical feat of a performance be so raggedly represented because of bad shots and dodgy lighting. Perfume have been in this game too long and have too good a visual team around them to be giving us badly shot performances. But their shit is always badly shot, so I don't know why I'm even-
