Ringo Sheena's got the band back together to drop a new song. Marking their first release of anything in 7 years.

"Eien no Fuzai Shoumei" is business as usual as pretty much picks up where Sheena's solo material last left off.

"Eien no Fuzai Shoumei" gives me strong James Bond vibes, which may have been intentional, given that the song features as the main theme for the upcoming Detective Conan movie, The scarlet bullet. Which also contextualises the song title, as "Eien no Fuzai Shoumei" translates as "The Scarlet Alibi".

The movie was due to release on April 17th, but yep. You guessed it. It has been postponed due to the second East Asian leg of Miss Corona's Contamination world tour.

Japan has only recently declared a state of emergency as a result of the pandemic, so the film delay is a fresh one. With Tokyo Jihen already having their EP slated for an April 8th release and "Eien no Fuzai Shoumei" set for release the week before, there was little chance of pushing its release back. That train had done left the station. Also, this is Tokyo Jihen's comeback. There was no way Miss Sheena was gonna push this shit back because of some damn virus, just so that it coincides with some film about some kid detective.

Bitch, please.
