Pandemic restrictions are starting to lift, but Chloe x Halle said 'No bitch, we still in a pandemic' and are keeping they asses at home regardless. Jimmy Kimmel's people said they'd like Chloe x Halle to perform, and the Parkwood posse said 'We gon' send you the YouTube link'.
Chloe x Halle really have no reason to ever visit a studio to record a performance ever again. Not with the serves-from-home we've gotten thus far.
Given Chloe x Halle's live performances, you'd think they don't have a whole new album out with new material. Because yet again, they performed "Do It".
Y'all. I'm tired of them performing this song, but I am still living for these performances because they are always so damn good. The looks that Chloe and Halle served. The way they switched this song up. The way they let everybody know they can play instruments and fuck with samples. The way they just decided to hit all the high notes for no damn reason.
Chloe. Halle. The Parkwood posse. They all make me sick.
I'm happy for them that "Do It" has these legs, but I'mma need to start seeing performances of "Busy Boy", "Ungodly Hour" and "Lonely" real soon.
