2NE1's CL returns with "Hwa"

After CL dropped her lil' album intro, interlude, teaser, whatever-the-fuck "Post Up" was, we finally get a full length song, titled "Hwa".

It will never not astound me how YG Entertainment dropped the ball with her. How could you not know what to do with such a talent and do a bitch so dirty!?

"Hwa" is a cool song. I don't think it's great, but it's good to have CL back and putting stuff out at a time when it can gain some traction. When CL came out with "Hello Bitches", it felt very flash-in-the-pan. We liked it, it was cool, but it literally came and just went. And when "Lifted" dropped it was at a time when we actually needed something with more impact like a "Hello Bitches". The timing of CL's releases never seemed right. But with the world in states of stillness, lots of people in quarantine, with more time on their hands to get into shit, and Korean artists having a spotlight on them, CL's timing feels right.

CL will be releasing her long-awaited second EP titled Alpha on November 20.
