Crystal Kay stars in a commercial about a car sound system, which doesn't even feature her own music

Crystal Kay is not only getting JBL money, but she's getting some Toyota money too. It's a good thing she's getting that good-good money from somewhere, 'cos she sure as hell ain't getting it from album sales or doing gigs in bars.

The JBL partnership until now hasn't been much more than Crystal doing the odd post like 'These headphones are so good. Wow. So amazed'. And maybe a shoot here and there. But we get an actual TV commercial this time y'all.

There's no song tie-in, which I think is a shame, but to be expected. Because us fans know how Crystal's team ain't shit. There's nothing in this commercial to link Crystal Kay to being a singer. Nothing. She's just some Black woman in a Toyota.

This bitch is on a tour, travelling between Osaka and Tokyo singing songs from an album released a year ago, which could still be pushed. It's the holiday season. And nobody felt to have it so that this commercial features Crystal Kay's music!?
