Perfume gave us a little tease from the jacket shooting of their upcoming single “Flow”, which is probably also a look at the music video. I’m not expecting anything more than Perfume dancing on water in these pink “Everyday” looking-ass dresses. In fact, “Everyday” is a good barometer of what to expect from the music video, sans the clocks.Shout outs to the photo retoucher, because the dresses look far better in the promo shot than they do in this video without post production magic. They look mad cheap. But at least Perfume are wearing decent shoes which match. But don’t expect this to be the case when Perfume give televised performances of “Flow”. We’re absolutely gonna get the clumpy ass “Mugen Mirai” boots.a-chan really can’t seem to settle on a ponytail, huh. HOWEVER. It woulda been a look had Kashiyuka and Nocchi switched up their hair a little to match a-chan’s energy. Because a-chan’s hair matched with the dress gives her a very girl group in the 80s look, which I think would’ve been cemented further had Kashiyuka and Nocchi’s hair been styled a tad differently. That's if it was what Perfume were going for. If not, then whatever. Forget everything I said, except that a-chan can’t settle on a ponytail.
“Flow” releases on March 9th, 2022 and will include the song “Mawaru Kagami”, which Perfume debuted as the encore for their Polygon Wave gig in 2021.
