T.M.Revolution reaches into the back of his closet and pulls out his freakum dress for a performance of “Hot Limit” on The First Take

So, T.M.Revolution pulled up to The First Take to perform his 1998 number 1 hit single “Hot Limit” wearing an updated version of his iconic “Hot Limit” freakum dress. Because sometimes you’ve just gotta let everybody know that your body is still snatched and that middle age ain’t gonna stop you from serving pussy desu.

The pop filter took one for the team. It was the only thing stopping T.M. from fellating that microphone. I know somebody had somebody remove that shit with blue rubber gloves and dispose of it. But this is just how T.M. rolls. Watch any live performance of his from the past 20 years and you’ll see that he sings with the mic REALLY close to his mouth. Everything about T.M.Revolution is just extra. It always has been. It’s like he lives in his own world. Between his extraness, his image, his live performances, some of his songs and even the way he sings — I kinda see him as a male equivalent of Ayumi Hamasaki.

“Hot Limit” was a true moment in Japanese pop. And I’m glad that a whole wave of people who had no idea about it get to experience it for the first time now. And quite frankly, we need to bring “Hot Limit” vibes back to Japanese music. Which record label is gonna step up to the challenge and form a boyband who hit the stage dressed like Psylocke from the X-Men or Leeloo from The Fifth Element?
