Perfume give us everything with their P.O.P FES "Time Warp" performance that the music video and their televised performances didn't

Perfume's P.O.P FES took place last week and graced fans with all manner of cool segments and interviews which was nice to see as a UK fan who isn't able to see all of the appearances they do on Japanese antional television. It also helped to lift the lid on Perfume a little, even if each of these interviews were still highly controlled and super careful. But this is what happens with every act once they hit a certain point in their career. They also gave a performance of a number of songs including (obviously) "Time Warp". I'm over this song and it's video already. But this was a cool performance.

This performance of "Time Warp" featured the energy that the live performances thus far have lacked, and gave the visual variety that the music video didn't give. The "Time Warp" set is memorable and looks amazing, and the way the time gimmick is cool. But the music video is so one note, which has become a theme of Perfume's music videos as of late. You're given everything the video has to give within the first 30 seconds or so, with no variation to anything.

"Time Warp" was part of a longer performance where Perfume held a mini concert in a virtual setting, but the full performance is behind a paywall. Tickets for the full performance can still be purchased up until September 30th. I've been seeing lots of fans online saying that money is too tight at the moment to fork out to watch the performance. I get that Perfume have gotta make that money, but it is a shame that there are fans who won't get to see it for now, because it looks really cool. It's basically Perfume dancing within their tour visuals.

Perfume should at the very least release the "Time Warp" performance to their YouTube channel, given that it is the current single, and that the performance is so much more interesting to watch than the music video.
