Ayumi Hamasaki is pregnant again

So, y'all. Ayumi Hamasaki is pregnant with her second child. Nobody but herself knows by whom, not that it's any of our business. But a bitch is pregnant. Good for her.

I have wondered if her first child and her current pregnancy was conceived by means of regular ol' penile thrusting or artificial insemination. Again, none of anybody's business. But it then did make me wonder if the likes of AI and IVF is something which is widely and openly discussed in Japan at all. Sexism runs as rampant worldwide as COVID at present. But so many topics in regards to women, their livelihoods, their life choices and their bodies are still seen as taboo in Japan, unless its concerning what women have 'done wrong'. 

But, I digress. I hope Ayu and her child stay safe and healthy through to term. I imagine pregnancy is a pain in the ass at any time, much less during a global pandemic. But for somebody like Ayu who I'd imagine would be concerned the disruption a pregnancy would have on her career, now at a time when so few artists aside from Kumi 'Fuck a pandemic' Koda are touring is probably an ideal time for her.
