Raye goes disco (again) for "Love of Your Life"

Raye goes disco (again) for "Love of Your Life" | Random J Pop

UK singer / songwriter Raye had released her Gloria Gaynor meets Dolly Parton bop "Natalie Don't" earlier this year (which K-Pop girl group Mamamoo then pretty much copied) and follows it up with another disco cut, "Love of Your Life".

So, I guess Natalie didn't.

And I guess we're all just doing disco until further notice.

Raye runs the risk of people comparing her to Duolingo, which would be short-sighted and unfair. Duolingo did not invent disco or this cool slice-of-life brand of music. But because she was one of the first out of the gate with it this year, Future Nostalgia is what everything with a hint of disco gets compared to. And then there's Raye's tone too. I can imagine people hearing a Raye song on the radio and wondering if it's Dua.
