Kumi Koda to release a new Summer single, "We'll Be OK". Okay gurl.

Summer is abound y'all. So a new Kumi Koda single is on it's way.

Do you remember the good ol' days when Kumi Koda used to have every Summer locked down with a single release!? The songs weren't always good, but it was a cute event to look forward to for fans. Especially if the release was a maxi single.

As the title and the cover art implies "We'll Be OK" is a feel good anthem, which is undoubtedly being released as a spirit perker in what has been and continues to be a raggedy year.

"We'll Be OK" is releasing as part of Kumi Koda's 20th anniversary, which was last year, when she did all the things for it. I guess a bitch ain't done with it yet; despite releasing singles, doing a whole tour, releasing a fan club exclusive best album and then releasing two EP's in commemoration.

Kumi Koda has confirmed that there will be a music video for her equivalent "We Are the World". The single cover is probabaly a shot from the music video itself. We've seen from Kumi Koda's past few single covers, that Avex don't be handing out 2005 budgets for Kumi's single covers any more. Kumi went from elaborate shoots for 12 single covers to releasing 9 singles, each with covers using the same one promo shot.

Whether Kumi Koda will get the same stimulus package that Ayumi Hamasaki had gotten for her video is unknown. I guess we gon' see.
