Perfume will be embarking on a lil’ tour to celebrate their P.T.A.15th & 10th Anniversary. Perfume have gotta come up with a better name, or just disregard the World P.T.A anniversary, because it’s messy and confusing, and they barely care about world P.T.A anyway.
The logo in the image above is the official logo for this anniversary. It reminds me of something you’d find on a Diptyque candle, and they also sell perfumes; so I guess the logo is fitting. But it’s also so off brand for Perfume, whose tour logos are usually really slick. I guess it makes a change from wireframed shit. But it really is ugly. It does however, once again show that Nocchi’s hairstyle is the most iconic in the group and that it is definable as fuck, no matter how you present or interpret it. Because her rose design in the logo is how I knew the roses represented each of the members of Perfume.
Watch one of the tour outfits be beige and dusty pink, with some nasty rose foolery on the shoulders.
The P.T.A. 15th & 10th Anniversary “Perfume and you” Hall Tour will run from September to November, and there will be a host of promotional goings on during it, such as partnerships with hotels to host Perfume themed hotel rooms for fans in selected cities. And the Perfume Costume Museum, which will be held in Hyogo throughout the duration of the tour.
If only Perfume’s setlists weren’t just them running songs off of a LINE playlist. It’d be great if they played cover songs of acts who are from the cities they’re playing in. Could you imagine Perfume covering Namie Amuro’s “Want Me, Want Me” during the final show in Okinawa? They’d have people TALKING.
Ticket, venue info and everything in regards to P.T.A.15th & 10th Anniversary shenanigans can be found on the official website, which is also available in English.

A festival gig in Spain, a performance in London, the surprise debut of a new song which doesn’t suck, a national tour, and promotional bits ‘n’ (Nocchi) bobs to keep the fandom fed. 2023 is a good year to be a Perfume fan.
