Perfume Closet is back with its 6th collection. From Cling Cling to Bling Bling.

Perfume Closet is still going strong y'all. 6 collections in, and it be branching out. Earlier this year we saw Perfume's Closet branch out into cosmetics, and now it's branching out into jewellery. So now you can quite literally fill out your closet with all things Perfume. Clothes. Shoes. Makeup. Fragrances. Jewellery. Files. Shit for your dog. Bitch. All of it. Perfume Home 'bout to be next; which wouldn't be so wild given that Kashiyuka has a thing for ceramics and glassware.

I'm not the demographic for Perfume Closet. I'm just here for the new promo shots which accompany it, because the ladies always look good in them, and give a different kind of look and vibe than usual. I do think it's cool that Perfume Closet is bringing the group success though.

Merch has become a big revenue stream for artists over the past few years, but so many artists get it wrong or are lazy with it. Perfume Closet has been pretty clever by essentially being a merch line which happens to be a fashion line; based on things that Perfume actually do wear or have worn. It's not JUST a sweatshirt or a hoodie with their album cover on it. I still think the price points for some of the products are too high for what they are. But if Perfume are making good money on it, which they must be to be 6 collections deep, then good for them. They have a huge team around them who all need to get paid. And the shows they put on sho' ain't cheap to produce.
